I installed cyberscrub the other day to clear up dead space and I downloaded
the exe to my desktop installed it and ran it. After I finished I
uninstalled the program and some others as well but now I cannot delete the 3
exes that are sitting on my desktop, I keep getting the message cannot delete
file as the file is being used in another program.

I have the same problem too. Did you ever get it deleted? I tried moving it
to a new folder and now even though I have an error message and wouldn't let
me move it but it did copy. I have the same thing in four different folders
because I kept trying different things. I would really like to get rid of
this file. any thoughts?

Have you rebooted? If not, please do so and try to delete the files again.
If that doesn't work, reboot into Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly tapping
the F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will get you to the right
menu. Use your arrow and Enter keys to choose Safe Mode.

If that doesn't work, you can try the free Unlocker.

Bollocks to microsoft
1. why should i have to reboot and go to safe mode Im trying to delete a file.
2.I bought a laptop with microsoft preinstalled. Microsoft tell me to go
back to sony as its their problem. Its' not, its microsoft.
3. I have always reported problems via the logging system they have but do
you think they say as much as a thank you or report back with a suggested
solution. It does not have to be instant just at least an acknowlegement of
problem.
4. Funny how they charge you for a fault of theirs yet if bill gates or any
other employee of microsoft went out and bought a new car and found
problems....
