Cannot delete contacts

email address' automatically add themsleves to my contact lists and they are
having babies exponentially - how can I delete them - every time I try I get
this stupid error message the windows has stopping working
Mr Gates where are your geeks they are needed here to repair this crap -
Vista is the least user friendly OS I have worked with
 
So is there a way to delete contacts that are already exist? Thanks for
letting me know how to stop the automatically, but how do you delete the ones
you don't want.
