Cannot delete contacts

email address' automatically add themsleves to my contact lists and they are
having babies exponentially - how can I delete them - every time I try I get
this stupid error message the windows has stopping working

Tools, Options, Send, uncheck "Automatically put people I reply to in my Contacts".

So is there a way to delete contacts that are already exist? Thanks for
letting me know how to stop the automatically, but how do you delete the ones
you don't want.
