Cannot Delete Archive Folders

I created archive folders and moved the actual emails to a zipped file but
under the "All Mail Folders", they remain as "Archive Folders" and I get
asked to open them every time Outlook 2003 is started.

Is there some way to delete those "Archive Folders" - all 20 of them from my
pst so I don't have to reply "Cancel" to each request for an archive folder
to be opened?

You might be able to recreate them and then right-click on the root of each
folder and select "close". a lot of work. i'm assuming these archives have
moved so Outlook can't find them.

the command-line switch /resetoutlookbar might also help.
