Cannot Delete a File

I have a file (not an AVI) created by Alcohol 120%. It is a .MDF file. The message says cannot delete...used by another person or program, etc. I have tried all the suggestions posted for deleting media files and also rebooting to Safe Mode, but nothing will get rid of it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

This usually works for me, even for ****ed up files:
Do 1-4 but for a quickie, try just 4 first:
1Update Virus Definitions
2Run Virus Program
3Defragment Computer
4CtlAltDel and close ALL programs and ALL processes
(especially) that you can, even if it says it's not a
good idea.
