Cannot copy and paste

I can't copy and paste in my explorer at times,the paste is grayed. And when
that happens,my
outlook express dosen't work yet, I can't compose new mail and reply mail.
It's OK after the machine reboot. I used MCAFEE to check my computer but no
virus was found. (I am sure it is not Blaster),It's so weird that I never saw
it before.Can you help me? Any help I would appreciate.

This occurs, if your svchost.exe is terminated unexpectedly. Do you get this
error . Check your event logs.
Also what service packs and hotfixes you have applied.
