Cannot connect to VPN through wizard

hi all,
If I initiate the New Connection Wizard, then select the
option "Connect to the network at my workplace", the two
options that follow (i.e. Dial-up connection and Virtual
Private Network connection) are both unavailable!

I found Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 281625, but all
possible slutions had no effect. However, I didn't have
the registry key that was mentioned in the article
(HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Telephony\Cards\Next).

Any ideas?

This is a common cause:

The fix is to re-apply SP1.
