Cannot connect to Active Directory

I usually logon to my 2003 machine using an NT4 domain account and run utilities that use the MSMQ on a 2000 server in an Active Directory domain that has a 2-way trust relationship with the NT4 domain

Unfortunately, every time I want to do anything with MSMQ I get an "Error: A connection with Active Directory cannot be established. Verify that there are sufficient permissions to perform this operation." message, and the only way I can do anything is to logon using the Active Directory domain admin account instead

What permissions is it looking for and how do I set them?

You need to add the EnaeblLocalUser registry, as explained in
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/...cs/en-us/msmqconcepts/sag_MSMQconcepts1_1.asp

This can also explain the problems you described in your other post and the
"MSMQ Users" container that you see.

Thanks, Doron
