HI! My problem is only one way.. I can access from my XP system to my 98 but
not from the 98 to the XP.
I used the Xp setup wizard and made sure that workgroup are the same. I
used the network disk ( created by XP) to configure the 98 machine as
indicated in the XP docs..
I can access all the shared file on the 98 system from my other computer(
winxp). I can see the computer in the win 98 network neighborhood but when I
click on the computer it gives me this error.
"No Permission to access resource"
I created all the shares on the xp and enable this "Share this folder on the
network" and "allow network users to change my files."
Does someone know what I could look for to resolve this problem?
Configuration: below
XP sp1 machine= PII MMX /333
98 sc addition = PI 100
Router 10/100 with firewall.
Internet= DSL modem connected to main in router and other computers are in
other ports on the router.
Thanks in advance
