I have a problem folder I can't get rid of. At one point I had access to
another user's mailbox. That access was through the Exchange Server setup,
the Advanced Tab. When that access was no longer needed I removed it from
the list on the Advanced tab of Outlook, but the folder in the application
did not go away.
It also no longer has a valid name. Outlook refers to it as Folder
<0w#25>.
Whe I try to right click it and close it I get the message "You cannot
close the mailbox that contains your calendar, contacts, and inbox"
But this folder contains none of those. I have my own fully functioning
mailbox..
I can't find a reference in the registry. I also searched the hard drive
for a reference. I found one file MSOINTL.DLL under...\ Microsoft
Shared\Office10\1033
and ...\ Microsoft Shared\Office11\1033
A search of the internet showed me a post from

She says it is a ghost .pst file and can be removed by creating a new
profile. I am not sure I want to mess with the profile. I was wondering if
there is another way.
