Cannot Close Excel

Hi, I am unable to close an excel 2000 spreadsheet using
the cross at the top right hand corner of the
spreadsheet. As soon as I start working in the
application, the grey cross greys out and is disabled. I
use GroupWise as my email application and in the past it
used to work when certain XLW files were removed from the
C:\Novell directory on the PC. This no longer works. PLS
help!

there are two files you need to delete and it should fix
the problem. (groupwise files)
hopefully this is the article that will tell you which
files because i don't remember them.
