Cannot change DISPLAY properties-system restarts

We have a few systems that restart when we try to access
the system's display properties. No stop message or error
messages in the system logs. Just goes black and restarts
when you select properties for the display.

Any help?
 
Check the hardware manufacturer's web site for the latest Windows 2000
driver for your graphics adapter.
