Cannot "Attach" Attachments

I get an Out of memory, low on resources error when I try
to attach an attachment in Outlook. Plenty of memory and
resourses open. Disabled virus scanners and word plugin.

HELP! please =(

One possible cause: Office Clipboard has too many cut or copy clips saved in
it.

Edit menu -> Office Clipboard -> Clear All

If that doesn't help, do a search at Microsoft's support site
(http://support.microsoft.com/), search on "out of memory" (exact phrase),
and max the count of matches returned. There were 27 articles that matched
and maybe one of those applies to your problem.

No luck I tried everything I could think.
if I uninstall and reinstall office 2000 it works. But
when I update to SR-1a It happens all over again
