What calendar folder?
I did not understand this question Sue. The calendar is a mailbox under
resources mailbox store. Any other information I could provide.

In what version of Outlook?
MS Outlook 2003

You said you brought up the Properties tab for a some folder in order to assign permissions. What I'm asking is what folder you are working with. A calendar is *not* a mailbox. A calendar is a folder and can be *in* a mailbox or in the Public Folders hierarchy. The mailbox can be your own mailbox or a secondary mailbox you have added to your Exchange account settings. The calendar can be the default Calendar folder for a mailbox or a calendar subfolder that the user has created.

Thanks Sue. Well, I went to the Public Folder level and added the
permissions. But, I usually do it in Outlook, open a folder and right click
on it and go to properties and I see the tabs, but some calendars I am
unable to, not sure why

If the Exchange mailbox you've used to log on is not an owner of the folder in question, you will not be able to set its permissions.

I am having the same problem. I have an exchange 2003 server and my
workstation is xp pro and my mail client is Office 2k3. I am an owner
on a number of public folders but I do not have the administration
tabs. I only have the homepage and general tabs. Another admin in the
same securtiy group running Win 2k and Office 2k can see the admin tabs
just fine. Is there a bug with Office 2003?

Actually we found the fix we think. In outlook 2k3 go to
tools, options, other, advanced options and select add in manager.

Under Add in manager check the Exchange Extentions commands and
Exchange Extentions property pages.

I did assign permissions on the public folder for the calendar to which I
would like to assign permissions for users. But, it looks still that the
users are unable to access the calendar and get the following error message.

"You don't have permissions to create an entry in this folder. Right click
the folder and click properties to check the permissions for this folder.
See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions".

I even added myself and gave publishing Author rights and I also get the
same error message. Any thoughts?
