cannot add the number in excel shhet

I have copy some figures from HTMl formats to Excel sheet but some figures
can be add but i cannot but i can see in excell sheet all the numbers but
still cannot add or add sum

This newsgroup deals with Microsoft Access, a relational database
application.
Try your post in an Excel newsgroup.

The only thing I can think of is that the numbers you copied, are
actually brought into Excel as Text.
