Cannot access web via IE6 or Windows Update

I suddenly cannot access the web via IE6 or windows update. I can use e-mail, I can FTP with WS_FTP and Net Objects Fusion. I re-installed XP... not only did this not solve the problem but I now get error message "The application has failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application." whenever I try to open ANY <i
Microsoft Office (XP) programs.
