Cannot access some websites from

When I input certain web addresses or click on certain
links, I get the following error message:

"Network error. Unable to resd address from host
g.msn.com. Connection reset by peer."

The most prevalent instance is when I try to connect to
consumerreports.org (the general site, not the
subscribers-only portion).

This has been going on for some time. I am running Win XP
with IE6,Sygate firewall, AdSubtract (which I have tried
disabling-no help there), and SpamSubtract. I have gone
into Internet options from the browser home page (MSN)
and played with cookie handling and security settings. No
luck.

Help and advice, please.
