Address Bar Search problem

When searching with MSN.COM, the targets in the returned list always include
a
http://g.msn.com/9SE/1? in front of the legitimate URL. If I click on any
target, I get a "NETWORK ERROR - Unable to read URL from host g.msn.com:
Connection reset by peer". This doesn't happen if I use Google or some other
search engine. (I'm using OS Win98SE) An identical PC on the same network
works fine. Any help would be appreciated.
