cannot access search engines

Hey folks,
I just got high speed access. After surfing care free
yesterday, I can no longer access several search engine
pages. When I request yahoo, google, or MSN, they all
return a bogus site, or say "not available." I dumped all
temp files thinking something got in here, restored teh
system to several days ago and still no fix.

Anyone have any comments or ideas?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that sie does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
