Cannot access query builder in Outlook 2007?

H

Hossdaddy

When I expand the search to show the options in the query builder, they are
all greyed out and I cannot access them or "add criteria" - I've tried
everything I can think of, but cannot seem to build a query. I can still
used advanced find and open a new window, but it seems that the query builder
may be a nice option (if I could get it to work).

Any suggestions?

The query builder is only available when you install Windows Desktop Search.

I have downloaded Windoiws Desktop Search. After doing so I got a message
sayiing that it was going to index my files. As far as I can see, it has
indexed nothing, and the query builder is still greyed out for me as well.
Suggestions?

What's reported when selecting;
Tools-> Instant Search...-> Indexing Status...?

If you look at the Indexing Options in Control Panel, does it show Microsoft
Office Outlook as a source to be indexed?
