Cannot Accept Windows XP Pro EULA

I previously had Windows XP Professional (legitimate) installed and
running on my machine. I then did a full install of Windows Vista Home
Premium (also legitimate). After 4 months of mediocre satisfaction (at
best) I decided to try installing Windows XP Pro x64 Trial offered on
the Microsoft website. There were driver issues with my printer so I
decided to reinstall Windows Vista. I now find that I cannot perform a
clean install of my original Windows XP Pro from Boot. When I get to
the EULA screen, I simply cannot press F8 to accept. I press the
button over and over and nothing happens, however I can press ESC to
cancel the installation or scroll up and down just fine. What is even
stranger now is that when I insert the XP x64 install disc (just to
see what happens since this install worked flawlessly before) the same
thing occurs. It seems that I cannot install over Vista. Has anyone
encountered this or know how to get around it? I cannot take this
Vista $%$# anymore and all I want to do is to go back to my old XP Pro
operating system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Incidently, my XP Pro CD is a newer CD with SP2 included.

Cheers

I recall reading you cannot install XP onto Vista's version of NTFS, so you
may need to do delete partition and start again.

I haven't tried this myself so cannot confirm.

The "F" keys are all enabled. I know this because I am able to enter
into the Boot Setup menu with no problem. I have already reformatted
the drive with an old Win98 SE CD, and yet I still cannot accept the
EULA on the XP Pro install CD. I am reformatting the drive again now
using the recovery option of the XP Pro CD. I don't understand how the
option to accept a EULA on two CD's (which worked before on the same
machine with the same hardware) can be disabled. Could it be an issue
with the BIOS and Vista changing it somehow?

Really need some help, right now my PC is a useless pile of hardware
without the ability to install an OS.

Cheers,

As a Micros~1 stockholder, I am required to suggest buying another copy of
XP.

If you really are a stockholder, I suggest you sell short.

You sell short when you don't own the stock, then when the price goes
down you purchase the stocks to replace the ones that you earlier sold
but didn't own, you pocket the difference between the selling and
purchase price. This strategy can be very risky because while the floor
can fall from usnder the stock and the price can fall to zero, good news
could send the stock price into the stratosphere and when required to
replace the short stocks you may have to shell out many times more than
you pocketed from the sale! Technically while the profits are limited
the losses can be unlimited. Maybe you meant that they should get rid
of the stock or buy a put option?

Both and don't do it on margin.

Time to delete the partitions and try again.
