Cancelling Word tracking

I tested tracking on a Word document and don't like using it. Now I opened
another Word document and it automatically started tracking. How do I
eliminate this situation? I have Office 2007 but the document was saved in
Compatibility mode. I saw the Microsoft Video on tracking but it doesn't
answer my question.

Clicking the Track Changes button on the Review ribbon or pressing
Ctrl+Shift+E will turn off tracking. You will also have to accept or
reject and changes in the document that have already been tracked.
