Cancelling the printing of word count

It's not clear to me what you mean. Are you saying that document properties
are printing out when you're printing a document? If so, then choose Tools -
Options - Print, and remove the check by Document Properties in the Include
with Document section.
 
And if that's not what is meant, perhaps there is a NumWords field in the
document somewhere?
