I tried to send an email that was too large and the send keeps failing. But I
cant see how to cancel the email out of the queue. Now I cant send any email
because the big one is still in queue...can anyone help?

If it's still in the Outbox, click on the Outbox, then the message, then the
X
that should show up in the toolbar. You may have to disconnect from the
internet to make this work.

You should be able to go to the out box and delete it.
If Windows Mail is still trying to send it, you may have to disconnect
from the internet while you do this.

If the message then rejects both attempts to delete it and attempts to
move it to the Drafts folder, download and install this hotfix, with
Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether you have a 32-bit version
of Vista or a 64-bit version, try the hotfix for the 32-bit versions first.
Certain common antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton
or McAfee, tend to cause stuck messages and other problems in
Windows Mail, although seldom immediately, so if you have one of
those antivirus programs, remember where to find the hotfix and hope
it will install again if you need it again. A recent version of the Trend
antivirus program also causes problems in Windows Mail.

The Vista SP1 update includes this hotfix and more, but takes longer
to install.
