Can you undo a save?

I opened a file in my documents to use the format and
deleted the data to retype it. After I was finished,
instead of file/save as, I accidentaly saved it over the
previous document. Is there a way to undo a save or
retrieve the document prior to resaving it?

If you don't have a backup of your old file the data is lost, sorry
