Can you turn off the graphics in Outlook?

I'm using Outlook 2000 SP3. I get alot of spam and would like to turn off
the graphics if possible.
 
I don't think you have these options in 2000 but try:
Tools>Options>Mail Format>Internet Format and see if the first box is
ticked, or Tools>Options>Security>Change Automatic Download Settings.
Or
Tools>Options>Security>Change Automatic Download Settings and then untick
the 'Don't download....' box.

I'm not seeing the "Internet Format" or "Change Automatic Download Settings"
buttons in Outlook 2000.
