How can I turn off auto mail checking?

I have Outlook 2003 and also run an anti spam programme. I need to turn off
the auto mail check so that the mail can go through the anti spam programme.

Send and receive settings (ctrl+alt+s) - uncheck check every xx minutes.

Hi there

open outlook >tools>option>mailsetup>click on send/receive tab and uncheck
the automatic send/receive option and that will help you
