Can you retreive a prior version of a Word document after saving?

I have written a letter and somehow in cutting and pasting, deleted the
second page.

I am in the same Windows session and have saved the letter in the incorrect
form. Is it possible to retreive the original?

Only if you have the create backup option set or if the document has not
been closed since you saved it, you can use undo to backup to the cutting
and pasting and resave.
