Can you rename an Outlook 2003 Profile?

I installed an Add-on for Outlook 2003 and it did not function properly, for
whatever reason. In the apps troubleshooting section it stated that I needed
to create a test profile to check to see if it was database related. So I
created a profile named "test profile" and reinstalled the add-on in the new
profile. It worked perfectly. Now that I have the new profile set perfectly I
don't want it to remain as "test profile". I would like to rename it
something more personal. Is there a way to do it, or am I stuck with or
create a new one, with the correct name.

Thanks

If you are happy with going into the registry then it can be changed, make a
backup of the registry first or a system restore and make sure Outlook is
closed. The key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT|WINDOWS
NT\CURRENTVERSION\WINDOWS MESSAGING SUBSYSTEM\PROFILES. Mind you it isn't as
if your seeing the name of the profile all the time.

Thanks Noel, that worked perfectly, I should of thought there would be a
registry entry for it.

Enjoy you day,
Lance
