can you manipulate the original text on a reply email?

If an email was send out to someone using Microsoft Outlook with a typed
message on it and the person replied to the original email. Is it possible
for the original text to be changed once the reply had been sent back to the
originator??

Do you mean on the recipient's machine? Of course. Once the message is on
their computer, it's theirs and they can change it however they like.
