Can you import to public folders?

Hi,

I'm trying to import an excel file into a public Outlook folder, which I
have ownership permissions to. My only destination folder choices are the
personal ones. Is this even doable?

Import to a folder in your own mailbox or a Personal FOlders .pst file, then move the imported items to the public folder.
