Can you have the same contact in BCM and your personal Contacts

In Outlook 2003 BCM, If I have one person who I want to have in BCM and my
regular Contacts, is this information "Synchronized" or does the program
treat it as two different entries. In other words if I copy a contact into
BCM, does Outlook create a new record which is independant, or is this a link
to the original contact record?

Mke,

These are 2 separate individual contact records residing in 2 separate
folders in 2 separate applications with 2 separate data file stores. There
is no ongoing automatic synchronizing between your native Outlook contact
records and any duplicates that you may have created for your separate
Business Contact folder. BCM is a MSDE database add in to Outlook and
eventhough the 2 applications share the same user interface they are 2
different creatures. You can certainly have the same contact redundantly
exist in both places but if you make any changes to one of them you must
manually do so with the other to keep them identical.
