Can you copy and paste an old Office appointment into a new date?

In other calendar packages you can go to a previous calendar item, copy it
and then paste it into a new date where you want to schedule the same
appoitment again. Very useful with commonly repeated appointments (e.g.
annual leave). Is there any way of doing the same in Outlook please? Mike

Highlight the item. click on Edit-Copy, click on the new date and then do
Edit-Paste.

No need to copy and paste. Just open the appointment for edit, and change
the date/time to whatever. You can use the convenient drop-down selectors
for this.

You can even drag and drop the old meeting. From the standard day/week/month
view, hold the ctrl key and then mouse drag the meeting to the new date.
