Can you convert .VCR files to .MPG?

Is it possible to convert .vcr files to some other format, so that they can
be played back on another PC that does not have an ATI graphics card? If
anyone knows what I can use to convert them to say .mpg or .avi please let
me know, thanks!

Go to Ati Library on Launch Pad, next to your .vcr file ang right-klick. You
can see
commands: Export to MPEG-2, MPEG-4

Excellent, thanks very much for that - previously I had chosen not to
install the Library applet, so I didn't know you could do this from there.

The only option I get is 'Export to MPEG-2' though - do you think this is
because maybe I don't have the right codecs installed for experting to
MPEG-4? Or would it be because I am only running MultiMedia Center v8.1?

mpeg-4 was added in the most recent version of the MMC.
