Can you clear attributes?

Windows XP Pro

I wanted to burn a CD to a CDRW using Roxio Easy CD but after it started
copying I realized it wasn't the right source disc. Tried to erase the few
files that had copied to the CDRW but the attributes are Read Only. Tried
changing attributes to blank option but that doesn't do it.

Is there a way to erase the attributes and salvage the CD?

Can you format the CD to get rid of the files?

Yes. Put the CD into the CDRW drive and let XP open a
window to put more files on the CD. When the window
opens, just RIGHT-click the files/folders and sleect
Delete. Then click on "write these files to the CD".
Instead of "writing" XP will just simply remove the files.

Discovered that Roxio has a function in Direct CD that erases everything.
