can you change the default paste method? (paste values)

can you change the default behavor for the paste command so that it pastes
values?

Hi David,
I dont think so that we can change the default behavior of the paste command
But while pasting, right click it will show paste special it will give you
following options.
1 All
2 Formula
3 Values
4 Formats
5 Comments
6 Vaildations
7 All except borders
8 Column widths
9 Formula and number formats
10 Values and number formats

Other options like operation and skip blanks, transporse and paste link is
there you can use them occasionally.

Thanks for the responce. I do a ton of editing and was hoping for a short cut.

You can add a Paste Values button to the toolbar (as I have done). Right
click in the toolbar area and choose Customize... Select the Commands tab
and choose the Edit category. Scroll down the commands to find the Paste
Values button. Drag this with the left mouse key to wherever you want it on
the toolbar; I put mine next to the ordinary Paste button.
