If the ticks can be ticked in sequence....you can quite easily fake it, just by adding the tick yourself (clipart?),
then setting the tick to "appear or wipe up" on a mouse click.

Just add the tick, then right click it, then choose "custom animation".

Can you add a check box that you can check off in your presentation?

View, Toolbars
Put a check next to Control Toolbox
Click the Check Box icon on the Control Toolbox then click/drag on the slide to
produce a checkbox.

When you click it in slide show view, it checks/unchecks.
That's all.

So, now that you've got a checkbox, whatcha wanna DO with it? ;-)
