Can watermarks be added to powerpoint?

In order to control documents, I would like to add watermark to the each
page. Noone will be able to change these so when printed I would know it is a
controlled form. Watermark may not the the answer any suggestions are welcome.

Add a transparent PNG for a watermark, and then print the entire presentation
to a PDF.
