Can this happen?

I need to know if things that happen in PowerPoint can be controled using
Excel.

That is to say, if a calculation in Excel resulted in the number 5, could I
direct Excel to produce 5 circles on a slide in PowerPoint.

Basically, I am trying to create a downline representation of associates
based on who recruited who.

Example:

Jim who got Mark who got Sam, etc. and the same Jim who got Mary who got
Sally, etc..

Or does this have to be created in PowerPoint and updated each time a person
is added or changed.

Hopefully someone gets the idea or understands what I am trying to accomplish.

Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

You may use VBA to implement this.

What you want could be done with VBA or other programming but not with Excel and
PowerPoint as they come out of the box.

Is that something you want to tackle?
