Can this be done in MM?

I am using MM to make training videos. One of the best
feature is the simplicity of adding title overlays. It
works well for adding instructions and comments to
supplement the video / audio. However, I'd like to be
able to add other items to the video track, for example,
arrows or circles highlighting certain items. I can do
this in Premeire by using mattes in a separate video
track, but it's time consuming. An Premeire is much more
complicated to use. Is it possible to do something
similar in MM? That is superimposing objects on the
video? If so, how do I do it? If not, do you think we'll
ever see a second video track in MM?

The way I would approach it in MM2 would be to take snapshots from the video
to get JPG files, adding the annotations to them in something like Paint,
and using the annotated files in your movie. Kind of like an annotated
'freeze-frame'.

It you have lots to do, then something else is needed, for sure.
