Can someone help ME?

For as long as I have had my computer (over a year), I have been
unsuccessful in being able to use WINDOWS MAIL. I have tried using google,
yahoo, windows live, and my internet provider and I too recieve the same
message only I am able to send from windows just not recieve from others.
am I doing something wrong this is the furthest I've gotten in over a year.
Is there anyone out there who can help me cuz i sure feel stupid and I don't
think I am alone in that feeling. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Windows Mail cannot access any webmail account, like most Yahoo and Hotmail
accounts.
If you pay for the Plus accounts, then you are allowed to access the POP
servers.

Gmail now has instructions for enabling POP and for configuring Windows
Mail....

The newer Windows Live Mail can also access your free Hotmail/Live email
account, so I'd recommend using that instead of Windows Mail.
