Hi - I created a form and was editing it in design view, when I changed the
view to "form view" I was/am unable to see the fields within the "details"
section. The only thing I see is the header. All was working well, I had
toggled back and forth between the different views, but then this happened.
I checked to make sure that all the fields are "brought to the front" in the
layout and in the properties bar, I made sure that all the fields were
visible. This change occured when I added an existing field to the form, I
didn't change any other settings. Any feedback/help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

This is cause by no records in the datafile to display and add record isn't
allowed on the form. Add a record, fake to the datafile and it will make
the fields apear or open the form in add mode.

You are a genius! Thank you...that worked. I am a fairly new Access user
and did not even think to try that.

Thanks again!

Thanks, but truth be known I always build my tables first and then stick
some junk in them for testing. I was using access for years before I ever
saw this and someone here had the same problem. Newsgroups are great...most
of the time.
