Can See Attachments but cannot open

Jeff

Since installing Outlook 2003 I am not able to open any
emails. The email remark is that "OE removed access to
the following unsafe attachments in your mail". When I
send an email from my computer using Outlook Express and
download the email with Outlook 2003, I get this message.
It works the same vice versa.

Help... I need to get attachments on a daily basis.

What is UP????

Outlook 2003 has nothing to do with this message. It is a recent update to
Internet Explorer that ups the security settings on Outlook Express.
Tools->Options->Security is where you can set this in Outlook Express.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Jeff asked:

Outlook 2003 will block anything it deems is unsafe. Have
people send you the file with a changed extension. For
exe, bat, pdf, zip or what ever I have them change the
extension to their initials with a note in the email to
change the file back to exe, zip, etc. This lets the file
through. I have seen so many people get hammered with
viruses after they changed the security settings in the
older versions of Outlook, the worst are dumb assed
attorneys.
