Can Recieve, Can't Send

Ok. Until about 3 days ago everything was working fine. Now I'm getting the
following message:

Subject 'Re: September 4th Letter', Account: 'CDF Cheer', Server:
'smtp.gmail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number:
0x800CCC19

My pop is pop.gmail.com
my smtp is smtp.gmail.com

my ports are 465 and 995

I do not have any virus protection software running.
I have tried it with the authentication box checked and without it.

Any suggestions?

I have tried that and I have no luck. Infact, now I can neither recieve or
send. Arrrggg.

Here is the new error message

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'CDF Cheer', Server:
'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Try deleting your existing mail account in Windows Mail, restart,
then recreate that account from scratch. Sometimes an account
can get corrupted for no obvious reason.

I'm assuming your Internet connection works such that you can
browse websites with Internet Explorer.

Thank you very much. It worked. I now can receive email but once again I
can't send. Any suggestions?

Can you post a copy of the send error message?

The error message below was for receiving.

Here is the message:
Subject 'Hey Anna', Account: 'CDF Cheer', Server: 'smtp.gmail.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19

This comes after a message saying the message has timed out and asks if I
want to wait another 60 seconds.
