Hi Folks,

I have a problem with Micosoft Outlook 2000 SR1. I am able to reciev
e-mail but not send.

When I send the e-mail it sits on my Outbox but is not delievered.

If I use Outlook express, e-mail functions OK, so I am fairly certai
it is something to do with Outlook and not with my provider or SMT
server.

I have Norton Internet Security 2004 installed on my machine, though
have tried disable virus checking on outgoing mails with not effect.

Any other ideas appreciated!

Do you get any error messages when trying to send? If so, what are they?

Try deleting one contact and close Outlook. Open Outlook
again and rekey the contact and make sure the checkmark is
checked to include it in your Outlook Address Book is
checked and try sending an email to that one contact. It
worked for me and I had to redo all of my contacts which
was quite tedious. Hope it works for you.
