Hi, all.

I'm getting the dreaded 0x800ccc0d error with my new
email accounts. Strangely, I can receive msgs just fine
but can't send anything without the error. I've spoken
with my ISP tech support, and they say my configuration
looks correct. Any hints about what to try next?

Anti-virus is McAfee VirusScan
Firewall is ZoneAlarm (Microsoft Outlook is checked as
trusted for Internet use)

On my previous email addresses, all worked fine, and I've
changed none of my VirusScan or ZA settings since I've
gotten the new account.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Is your outgoing server set to authenticate? What happens if you turn off
your AV scanning and ZA?

Rod,
Did you fix the problem?
I've just started with a similar problem. I receive ok but sent messages
stay in my outbox and keep sending themselves.
I know they are going because I'm getting messages back complaining about
sending multiple copies.
Any ideas how I can get back to normal?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

This can be caused a too-small server timeout value. The server timout
value can be adjusted on one of the mail account's property pages.
