Can Outlook 2003 and 2007 be install on the same computer?

Is there a way to have both version of Outlook on the same computer running
Vista? Our email environment is mainly 5.5 but in the process of upgrading.
I like to have both. I read an MS KB that says you can't but thought I'd ask
anyway and see if anyone has done it.

No. You'd need to use a virtual pc or vmware image for the second version.
 
What is the reason why they can't? Is it becuase they can't share the same
MAPI file? Thanks for you reply BTW.
 
yes, its related to the mapi functions.
