I have high speed internet access through Comcast. Can I set up Outlook 2002
to get my email from AT&T? i tried setting up a new email account through
tools, but it didn't work.

Do you have the POP3 (incoming) mail server & SMTP (outgoing) mail server
names?

Use Outlook to import your existing Outlook Express account. Click
Tools>Import and Export>Import Internet Mail Account Settings.

First of all I don't have Outlook Express, but I do know the POP3 and SMTP
addresses. I've already tried setting up the account with them but, it
didn't work.

Well, since your original post asks if you can set Outlook up like you can
Outlook Express, perhaps you can see wht I made the assumption. However,
you do have Outlook Express, since it's bundled with Internet Explorer. You
may not have configured it, however.

Define "didn't work." What error messages, if any, do you get and when do
they appear? What options have you selected on the Outgoing Server and
Advanced tabs of the account properties pages? What ports are you
attempting to use? Have you asked AT&T whether or not your settings are
correct?
