Can one FORCE a component to install

When I try and install MMC for my Radeon 64 DDR VIVO (agp primary), the
install "sees" that I have a Xpert98 (pci secondary) also installed. It
appears that because the Xpert98 doesn't have a Rage Theatre chip in it I
get no tv-in as the MMC install is too stupid to look at the "other" card.

Is there some way to force TV-IN to install regardless?

I suppose the obvious thing to do would be to uninstall and remove the
Xpert98, install what you want for the Radeon, then replace and reinstall
the Xpert98.
