Can Office 2003 retrieve works documents older than works ver 6?

Help. Bought a new computer & word won't retrieve old works documents.
Guess my version of works was older than ver 6, cause trying to implement
that option didn't help. Anyone know is there is a way? Thanks.
 
You need the filter appropriate to the Works version - see the downloads
page on my web site.
