can not use internet explorer

i can not use my internet explore we had the sasser worm
and some dorkodrom and cool web searcher mess with our
computer. now we can not get on internet explorer it comes
up can not find broswer or about blank. and we can not get
into our control panel so we are stuck and help or advise
would be great..

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

Hi,

You might be able to browse and download programs from the address bar
of Windows Explorer.

Anyhow... download and run CWShredder from
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html CWShredder targets only
one family of parasite, but it's a good first step. CWShredder is only about
125 KB so it could be downloaded from another machine onto a floppy disk if
necessary.

Follow CWShredder with Ad-aware and Spybot.

If you have removed malware, you probably need to run lspfix:

Regarding 'can not get into control panel', you need to be more precise.
